episode 32: just a quickie update!

just a quick episode to say hi... and give you a super fast update about what's going on. follow me on instagram... i'm hellolovely. you can find the awesome yarn i was knitting with, hdyarns in the "circles" colorway, at https://www.etsy.com/shop/HDYarns. ps: i just noticed that my show has ads. i didn't start that. apparently blip has forced all shows to have "pre-roll" ads, whatever that is. i'm sorry for any inconvenience. :(

episode 31: remember me?

after a super long, unintended hiatus, i fill you in on the latest goings on!

no promises about a podcasting schedule, due to the "real life" things i have going on right now, but i promise to put out a show whenever i can, and will re-evaluate once things settle down.

Friend to FO March: winner is post #2 - samplerstitcher. PM me with your full name, address, and which version of cozies you'd like (red w/ flowers or purple w/ hearts), and I will mail them out plus a little bonus for being so patient, as soon as I unpack them. LOL! :)

FOs:
Pomme de Pin!
PdP KAL winners - Josie (the only FO!) and cpurl17 (the only person other than Josie to post a WIP!)

Next KAL: SOCKS! the group says APril/May, but I"m just going to extend it for the whole 2nd quarter, so April, May, and June!  Post your FO's in the KAL thread, and I will enter them into my own spreadsheet for prize drawings.  Self-striping yarns = a bonus entry, plus you can still post your FOs in the monthly Friend to FO thread! Socks must be started April 1 and finished/posted in the thread by June 30 (or whenever I wake up to close the thread July 1). Prizes will be drawn on the next podcast after.

WIPs:
Treehugger Skyps
Vanilla Bean Smiles
Rhombi
Moon River

Coming Attractions:
Hitchhiker
Drizzle
Dublin socks
Neon and/or Vodka Gimlet

Acquisitions:
Too many to share! I received my yarn for Neon (Plucky Knitter Sweater in Hotsy Totsy) and Vodka Gimlet (Madelinetosh Vintage in Betty Draper's Blues), loads of self-striping from destashes and some KirbyWirby yarns.

Review:
Knit to Flatter by Amy Herzog!
CHeck out her Craftsy Class by the same name. If you visit her blog, I believe she is still offering a discount on the class, but it's well worth the full price based on the few lessons I've watched so far.
